As reported on ThinkBaby in February, pushchair-makers Maclaren have launched a skincare ranch called Beginning which is designed as a healthy but refreshing and soothing range of oils, lotions and potions, to help a new-mum enjoy better well-being in the early months after birth.
In addition, the ingredients are sourced through sustainable and traceable partnerships.
Relax with healthy and happy skincare for mother and baby
Formulated with natural ingredients that are safe to use if you are breastfeeding or to use on your baby's skin, they are a wonderful selection of feelgood toiletries that mean you don't have to take different bottles on your travels for you and for your child.
(Most of the range is safe for use in pregnancy too, though some come with a warning to avoid use in the first trimester of pregnancy.)
Maclaren Beginning Travel Bag
Part of the range is the Travel Bag set which is packed with handy-sized bottles and creams for £35.
The Travel Bag is comprised of selections from the 'Journey of Life' sphere of the Beginning range, which are based in orange essential oil for an envigorating and refreshing experience. The Journey of Life range includes Connecting Massage Oil, Purifying Bath and Shower Elixir and the Alleviating Leg Lotion. Others feature lavender essential oil for calming and comforting with baby.
What you get
The Travel Bag for Mother and Baby is full of useful little bottles, but is also designed to keep its contents neatly in place.
The wipe-clean bag has five internal bottle-stays and an inside pocket and contains:
