The Nanny Breathing Monitor

Safe sleeping for babies is especially important in the early months and getting a good night's sleep as a parent can also be a rarity!

Online shop BabyMonitorsDirect.co.uk has come up with a nifty new gadget designed to alert you when your baby stops breathing in bed. The Nanny BM02 is a baby monitor which can be used in a cot or crib in your home or on the move.

The device is switched on when you put baby down to sleep and if it detects that your child has stopped breathing for 20 seconds then an acoustic and visual alarm will be triggered to alert you. The alarm will also be activated if your baby's breathing rate drops below 8 breaths per minute. Should your baby suffer Apnoea (forgetting to breathe) then the Nanny BM02 will also sound an alarm to wake them.

The monitor has a low battery usage with batteries lasting up to 6 months, a low battery warning light signifies when it needs changing and comes with a 24 month warranty.
