Research conducted through McGill University in Quebec, has found further evidence of the importance of vitamin D intake during pregnancy.
In a study to see what the impact on pregnancy would be when a woman does not drink enough milk, the researchers found that a lack of vitamin D (one of the few nutrients in milk which is not so commonly found in other food sources) was linked to lower birth-weight babies.
