The concept:
The Jané range of pushchairs are solid, stylish and reliable. However, this model of the three-wheel buggy with travel system options, is the easiest to handle yet.
The chassis is aluminium, but the oval body shape, the pneumatic wheels, and good suspension mean the pushchair doesn't feel too light.
The Pro-Fix feature allows the Matrix Pro car seat (carrier) or Auto carrycot to be clicked in or released from the body of the pushchair with one hand, which is a real innovation as most require two hands to click the release and then lift.
In action:
When folding and storing, the body of this pushchair is easy and compact, and all those little niggles about ease of brake use, being able to keep a hand free to hold your baby whilst using it, and so on, have been really well thought out here.
For your child, the comfort is great. The footrest is adjustable and there are four recline positions. We like the way the body colour of the upholstery includes the footrest as it looks great, too.
Flexibility is built in. As well as the brake systems allowing for all-terrain action and 273mm-diameter wheels, the larger hood (an update from earlier models) is great in winter, and the back part comes off to create a sunshade with air flow in warmer weather.
We also love the height adjustments (96cm, 103cm and 107cm are the three settings) which take into account different people pushing it for long periods of time.
Accessories include the footmuff and convertible carrycot. It's available in several colours: Rojo (red), Plata (grey), and Azulon (medium blue), Stylon (blue), Retro Classic (blue with cream trim), and Graphite (very dark grey, almost black).
