The Bébé Confort Axiss is a Group 1 car seat suitable after your baby is too big for its first infant carrier. That is, it's suitable for children weighing 9 to 18 kgs, which is about nine months to four years of age, though the weight is a safer indicator of suitability than age.
It is the first fully-tested rotating car seat in its field, which turns 90 degrees on its base, so that a child can be lifted in and secured at right angles to the normal direction of travel, facing a parent who is standing on the pavement. The setting can turn either to the right or left, so it can be used with either rear door of a car, and then can be locked into its correct forward-facing position with a clearly visible green safety indicator so that is can't rotate during travel.
