The concept
This is a buggy aimed very much at parents who don't want clutter: it's neat and compact and will fit in pretty much any car boot - and you won't trip over it in the hall

In action
The box this comes in is tiny - it's hard to believe a buggy can come out of it. OK, so it gets bigger when the wheels are on (a very simple operation), but not very. Opening and closing the buggy is also simple, but needs two hands. The v-shaped frame gives a streamlined look and the lockable swivel front wheels make steering a breeze. To operate the brakes just step on to apply and release - you'll be glad of this function when you're wearing sandals or expensive shoes. This may be a three-wheeler, but it's designed for town life - those wheels weren't designed for mud and rocks. The bouncy ride, which probably makes for a comfortable ride for your baby, makes it seem to 'wobble' slightly.

Benefits
The weight, obviously, and the price. I particularly like the fact that it looks more expensive than it is (really close up you know that certain features are lacking to keep the price down, but you'll look good walking down the street). The shopping basket underneath is pretty roomy, though hard to access when the seat is fully reclined. Your baby doesn't feel overly protected, but a fleecy cosytoes would soon sort that out.

Drawbacks
The buggy didn't feel as sturdy as some others, and the fabric could do with being slightly softer. The seat doesn't recline as flat as many other buggies but is within the limits laid down to manufacturers, and this is quite tricky to adjust. Also, the handle height is not adjustable, and is probably not high enough for really tall parents.

The ThinkBaby verdict

A great buggy for the price; perfect for the spatially challenged and ideal as a second buggy to store with the grandparents.
