Pampers/UNICEF
The support of UK mums has enabled Pampers to donate over 15 million tetanus vaccines to UNICEF. These will be used to help save the lives of millions of vulnerable mothers and their unborn babies around the world. For every pack of Pampers sold between October and December last year, one vaccine was donated to UNICEF - the total donated is the equivalent of 2 vaccines a month for every baby born in the UK each year or nearly four times the entire population of the UK.

Pampers teamed up with UNICEF for a second year to support the fight against tetanus. The 2007 campaign saw an increase of over 100% on the 2006 figure, which totalled 7.5 million vaccines. It is estimated that 250,000 mothers and their babies lose their lives to tetanus across the developing world every year.
