Ladybird's funwear for spring and summer

Ladybird, available exclusively at Woolworths, still retains the quality it was known for decades ago when mums and dads (and even a few grannies and grandpas!) were children and the brand was an independent kidswear label.
Although functional, affordable schoolwear is an established part of the Ladybird range, many parents forget what great value their other clothes, from newborn upwards, can be.

Ladybird Ladybird Ladybird spring/summer 2008 for toddlers
For tots, the Ladybird range has casual outfits like their matching pink Heart zip-up top and jog pants for £10, as well as clothes for special days, like their elegant White Crinkle Dress with Pink Cardigan which is superb for just £16.

Into the summer their frilly-bottomed white swimsuit with cherry detail is a retro cutie, £5.

For boys, a shirt and jeans set is just £12 and core wardrobe favourites like a gorgeous T-shirt with truck detail is just £4. Perfect durable clothes that are easy to wash but at prices that won't break your heart when your baby or toddler quickly grows out of them!

Ladybird Ladybird Ladybird spring/summer 2008 for children
Just because you're buying on the high street doesn't mean your child has to skimp on design. The boys' ranges from Ladybird have fun T-shirts, casual jeans and funky long-sleeve and check shirt looks, with short-sleeve T's starting at just £3 and 'Hand Me Down' jeans hanging tough at just £8.

To complete the look, check out the fab dinosaur socks (3 pairs £4) and some nifty soft summer shoes for £7 (great for protecting small toes on the beach).
For older girls there are frilly bikinis from £6, elegant pink sparkly canvas pumps for £6 and some gorgeous girly bags to complete any look.

Soft, easy pull-on trousers comes in summer sets with smock tops for prices around £9 and the roll-up jeans, for girls up to 5 years, look fabulous with their pretty pink lining on show.

Ladybird spring/summer 2008 for dressing-up
Ladybird always have dressing-up costumes for boys who want to play heroes and girls who want to be princesses, but other themes shining through this year include their funky cowboy and cowgirl outfits, suitable for 3- to 8-year-olds, a fabulous complete ensemble for £15.
