Spring/Summer maternity fashion 2008

We've had some interesting feedback from our March fashion week, where we have checked out some of the key seasons in maternity, from high-end fashion to high street reliables. In all price ranges there are some great things to buy, whether you want to add a couple of pregnancy items to your existing wardrobe, or you are looking for something smart for work or even a special occasion.

Longline Top £25

Online, companies like Crave Maternity, Everyday Maternity and Hush Maternity bring together great styles from a range of different labels, to offer you something that gives you great quality but also looks good. After all, pregnancy is not a time to have to swap your style for something that makes you feel like a stranger in your own clothes!
And when it comes to big store names, there are few to beat the breadth of styles offered this season by Mamas & Papas.

If you are 'marrying and carrying', be proud of your bump! When we checked out the prices of the wedding range offered by special-occasion maternity outfitters Tiffany Rose (£175 to £295) we realised it's worth every bride getting pregnant before the big day!

On the lingerie front, pregnant ladies and breastfeeding mums are not left out. New Zealand company HOTmilk have some amazing underwear on offer to ensure you feel more racey than mumsy!

Tiffany Rose

On the advice front, along with our existing product advice including Buyer's Guides to Maternity Wear, maternity bras and feeding bras, we have brand new features on maternity lingerie for big chests for those women who are dreading their larger boobs getting even bigger in pregnancy; and Brighton-based maternity outfitters Yummy Mummy Maternity have given us some invaluable tips for how to build the ideal maternity wardbrobe if you are going through a spring pregnancy.

Who said the ante-natal clinic wasn't a catwalk?!
