Maclaren gets yummy

In April 2006, Maclaren launch a special edition baby buggy in conjunction with handbag goddess Lulu Guinness.
The funky mother of two has designed upholstery to go on the body of the popular Maclaren Quest model. It will have a lime-green trim and the phrase 'I Love You' covering the seat and hood in a rainbow of colours and type styles.

Maclaren's lightweight buggies are a firm UK favourite but their colour scheme is usually far more 'sensible' than the likes of Bugaboo, who have leapt into the pram/pushchair market in an explosion of colour in the last few years.

The Lulu Guinness Quest will certainly add a touch of chic to the Maclaren collection. Ranges like the Quest and Sport do now come in pinks and reds as well as trademark blue or black, and there are already leather and Burberry versions as well as a space-age Stark-designed model, but the Lulu Guinness edition is destined to be a big hit.

It's recommended retail price will be £125 (not bad considering the regular Quest models have an RRP of around £100). You can find more details on the Maclaren Maclaren website.
