Renowned lingerie retailers Agent Provocateur have caught up with the idea that sexy underwear can lead to... babies!
The company better known for lingerie ranges called things like 'Caramba' and 'Shazam', have worked with birth guru Gowri Motha on three new Cupid maternity products: the maternity and post-natal bra, maternity and post-natal brief, and the post-natal control brief.

Cupid maternity and post-natal bra
The bra, in typical Agent Provocateur style, makes maintaining a plungey cleavage a priority, as well as making the bra soft and comfortable and having a front fastening for feeding. It comes in black, black and red, fuscia and leopard print, which makes it a lot more fun than many maternity bras you'll find!
One downer: Agent Provacteur don't sell much for the larger lady, and sizes here only range between 32C to 36G so, despite their saucy, sexy way of promoting themselves, those of you who suddenly feel like your pregnancy bust makes you look like something from a Russ Meyer film are going to have to shop elsewhere.
The bra costs £60.

Cupid maternity and post-natal briefs
The briefs also come in black, black and red, fuscia and leopard print, and cost £45.
They are low-slung so they fit under your growing belly, although as post-natal briefs, they won't be suitable if you have a caesarian (when you need to get yourself some super big Bridget Jones pants for a few weeks while you let things heal).

Cupid post-natal control brief
According to Dr Gowri Motha, the vacuum in the womb left after birth needs to be reduced and to this end, Agent Provocateur have designed a high-waisted brief that tucks your tummy in with a thick elastic band around the lower ribcage. I'm not entirely sure it's the kind of thing I would have enjoyed being slid into after having my children - the act of breastfeeding was all the healing I think I could muster! But if you crave something that gives you a slimming look then this might be for you.
The control brief costs £60 and comes in black and red, with detachable suspender straps.
