Clearblue are a major brand name in pregnancy testing kits and, whilst no kit on the market should be any less reliable than another, Clearblue does have a good success rate in being able to tell you whether you are pregnant or not.
With Clearblue you don't need to wait for seven days after your period's due date, you can use it on the day you know your period is due.
(To save money in doing repeated tests, you might want to allow a couple of days' grace to make sure you're into the time when you would definitely have usually started your period.)
Unlike some urine samples which have to be taken from your first loo visit of the day (!), Clearblue is one of the tests you can do at any time, which is useful if you don't want to sit and wait! All you do is hold the end bit which is an absorbent patch, under the flow of your wee.
Clearblue also do multipacks which can be useful. But do try not to get fixated otherwise you will be testing every few days and possibly add to the stress, if you are hoping to be pregnant.
They also do a digital test kit. This means the word 'pregnant' appears on the results field.
