Tomy's new Discovery Dome

Even if you're not bound by school holidays yet, holiday visits to grandparents, rented cottages and friends-who-don't-have-kids can bring with them the hassle of having to load up your car with toys and other things that'll keep your child amused. Oh what relief when you do visit friends who have a stash of toys, books and furniture that isn't so posh you fear your child toddling too close to it...

Tomy have designed a new play space that's suitable indoors and out - ideal for play in an apartment on a rainy day, in the garden when it's sunny, or anywhere anytime really. And the added bonus is that you can fold it up so it's easy to take with you on those trips when 'bring your own baby entertainment' is a must.

Designed for children from one year up, the Discovery Dome is a cross between a play tent and an activity centre. Hand-eye co-ordination, manual skills and exploring numbers and shapes are just a few of the developmental pluses of the Dome, while the ball helter skelter, the multi-coloured windows, bead pockets, and light-switches are all about pure pleasure.

Here at ThinkBaby towers, one of our favourite things about the Discovery Dome is that is costs just £39.99 - cheaper than some of the plain play dens and tents on the market.
