Maclaren are probably best known to many, for their range of easy-to-carry pushchairs and buggies, for use when a baby can sit up. They are usually the models parents turn to once their massive 'from-birth' pushchair is more bulky than suits their growing child's needs. Strange how smaller babies need bigger buggies, but there you go!
Now Maclaren have added this impressive three-wheeler to their range.
21st Century Babies

The MX3 has single-spoke alloy wheels, a light frame and a lockable, swivel front wheel. The EVA tyres are puncture proof, which is useful if you are using the MX3 for all-terrain leisure, and the handle is fully adjustable to allow for the different heights of mum, dad and anyone else walking baby.
Othe features include adjustable footrest and bar, multi-position seat recline, quick release wheels for compact storage on longer car journeys and at home, and a UV-protective visor and hood window.
If you want to have one buggy from birth through to toddlerhood, you can buy a carrycot that fits on easily on the top of the frame. The cot is suitable for newborns and comes with its own covers and rain protection.
The measurements are: height 90 to 115cm; width 60cm; length (folded) 87cm; weight 9.8kg.
The MX3 retails at £200 as a three-wheeler buggy, which is competitive with other solid, flexible three-wheelers. The carrycot is an additional £100 if you want to use it from birth.
The MX3 is available in Crimson Red, Citrus Lime, Storm Grey and Tangerine Orange.
