Nature Babycare Natural Nappy Pants
Though the debate still rages over disposable nappies versus reusable ones, Nature Babycare have been getting on with exploring a third way!
You might already recognise their packets of nappies in supermarkets. Placed alongside the regular disposable options, Nature Babycare's nappies work just the same way, but are made from biodegradeable materials. So you don't have to feel so bad about the landfill problem!
Nature Babycare also make silky biodegradable nappy sacks, and wipes. We've raved about them before (click here to see), but now they have taken their product lines one step further, to cover the whole happy nappy experience.
Other companies make toilet wipes (like baby wipes, but designed for children who are training on the loo and need something less erm, dry than toilet paper, to get themselves clean!) already, but now you can get Nature toilet wipes.
Chlorine and perfume free, they are made from biodegradeable materials and are safe to flush down the toilet after use.
The company have also developed 'next step' training pants for toddlers who are growing out of nappies. Training pants look and feel more like normal underwear so your child gets used to the idea of going to the loo, but the pants are designed to catch and soak up any accidents during those crossover days or weeks, so your child doesn't feel bad about their learning experience. They are often a preferable alternative to nappies when your child just wants something on at night.
The toilet wipes compare pretty well with the price of other brand wipes (a pack of 70 wipes costs £2.69), and a pack of 20 Junior Nappy Pants retails at £5.98. (They have also just introduced a larger size regular nappy, too.) They are available exclusively at Waitrose.
