Knowing if you're pregnant

Whether you are desperate to conceive a child or desperate not to there are times when you will suspect you may be pregnant - here's what you should be aware of before you dismiss the notion entirely or get too excited.

There are many physical symptoms of pregnancy, so if you think you may be pregnant you can check which are most common pregnancy symptoms. A question we're often asked is whether it's possible to become pregnant even though you're on the pill, and the answer is yes, it is possible to get pregnant while taking the pill. If you think you may be pregnant the only way to really be sure is to take a home pregnancy test. Home pregnancy tests nowadays are very reliable, but you can't get an accurate result at just any time after you've had unprotected sex, so if you want to do a home test make sure you know how and when to test.
