We love this new travel cot from Hauck.
The Sleep N Play Centre addresses one of the common uses for a travel cot: in the home as a safe place to keep your baby or toddler when you can't be with them for a short period of time.
Instead of using a travel cot as just a place of restriction, the Sleep N Play Centre can engage your child in something more than gurgling and waiting for mummy or daddy to come back! The overhanging mobile is completely safe and gives your baby something to enjoy.
At an RRP of £79.99, this is not the cheapest travel cot, but it's a competitive price for one with a changing station that can fit across the top, and one where the mattress height is adjustable - just as it is on a regular cot.
The adjustable mattress height is a great extra because, once most babies come out of a Moses basket, it is usual that they have to sleep in a travel cot when out and about visiting family and friends. This might happen as early as three months, but having to stretch right down to the base of a travel cot to pick up your tiny baby is not easy (especially if your back is bad after the birth), and often wakes a tired baby. Additionally, in cold months, it can be draughty at the bottom of a travel cot, which is nearly on floor level. Thus, being able to adjust the mattress height gets the ThinkBaby thumbs-up!
It comes in H-Cross Blue and H-Cross Red.
