Woman told she would have trouble conceiving gives birth just hours after her misdiagnosis
Stacey didn't know she was eight months pregnant
A woman who was told she could not conceive naturally has given birth after doctor’s diagnosed her stomach pains as kidney stones, reports The Sun.
Stacey Bonsall, 22, had no idea she was pregnant until the day she gave birth. She was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries in 2008 and told she would be unable to conceive without medical help.
When Stacey began to feel unwell and started to gain weight she took two pregnancy tests, which proved negative. Stacey checked into hospital as she had severe back and stomach pains and was prescribed paracetamol and co-codamol. As her pain continued to get worse she was rushed back to hospital where doctors told her she was suffering from kidney stones.
Just hours later, Stacey gave birth to her son; son Jaiden who was born weighing 6lb 7.5oz, reports The Sun.
“I suddenly sunk in that I was his mummy. It was just so quick,” she said.
It seems that Stacey didn’t experience the uncomfortable and telltale signs of pregnancy, like morning sickness. Can you imagine sailing through pregnancy without the symptoms?
