Think of a wallaby and you’ll probably think of a little baby in its mother’s pouch, cosseted and cosy. Well, that’s exactly the image Dutch company Wallaboo want to conjure up for their new range of children’s products. Washable microfibre faux suede and plush shearling abound, in an array of warm colours, with items ranging from a changing bag with a multitude of pockets to a snuggly baby blanket and footmuffs for your buggy that will keep your baby as cocooned as that tiny wallaby. And they’re all machine washable, which makes life that bit easier for busy parents.

Wallaboo's fab gems for winter
The Footmuff, £65, is sure to catch on here, given the British weather. It comes in black, chocolate, pink, lime, soft blue and red and is designed to fit all strollers. It features a detachable top part to keep baby’s head warm, a practical pocket for his favourite toys and double zippers that open on all sides for easy temperature control. A smaller newborn footmuff, £35, is suitable for babies up to one year and fits perfectly in infant car seats, prams or carrycots.

The hooded baby blanket, £33, in soft blue, pink, chocolate and lime, is ultra soft and cuddly, with a lining of absorbent cotton. It is the perfect size for wrapping up baby, and ideal for infant car seats, providing a cosy transition from car to buggy so baby doesn’t get cold.

The changing bags in a large (£60) or small (£40) offer casual chic for mums and dads alike and feature thermal bottle holders, separate pouches for nappies and wipes, a changing pad and zippered dry bag. Small comes in black, chocolate, lime, pink, soft blue and red; large in black, chocolate and lime.
