An independent survey carried out this year has revealed that Sudocrem is the nation’s favourite brand of healing cream. 150 mums with babies under a year old were questioned and 90% of them chose the nappy rash cream as their most trusted. Sudocrem was also voted by midwives as the top product to recommend mums in this survey.
Sudocrem was originally developed as a unique healing cream in 1931 by Dublin pharmacist, Thomas Smith, where over the years it was introduced across the rest of Ireland and then into England. Commonly known for its treatment of nappy rash the healing formula can also be used for cuts and grazes, minor burns and sunburn.
