'A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY'
Strengths:
None. It is a total waste of money. Not practical at all.
Weaknesses:
Too heavy and baby slumps forward when asleep as it is too upright. You cant carry it far at all, even my husband found it really heavy.
Overall:
Don't waste your money on this or the system to go with it. Would not buy again. In fact we were so concerned about our baby's slumping in it we brought a whole new travel system!!!

'TOO HEAVY AND TOO UPRIGHT'
Strengths:
Good protection and well padded once baby is past newborn stage
Weaknesses:
Head supports are much too far apart for newborn and seat is far too upright. Baby didn't look at all comfortable
Overall:
Wouldn't recommend for newborns. Very heavy.

'WELL PADDED, REALLY GOOD BUT VERY HEAVY'
Strengths:
Your baby will be very well protected in this car seat, no need to worry about their head moving about when the car is moving, their is so much support they won't move.
Weaknesses:
This car seat is very heavy without a baby in it and extremely heavy once baby is in it. Also the padding/protection at the head is really good but our baby is tall and his shoulders are higher than the head support, therefore he is quite uncomfy. He is only 18wks and we will need to get another car seat. If the extra protection/padding could be removed I would be able to use the car seat longer.
Overall:
Overall, I would definately recommend this but be aware it's heavy.

'I FEEL MY BABY IS REALLY WELL PROTECTED IN IT.'
Strengths:
Versatile - straight out of the car onto the chassis without disturbing baby. Also very easy to fix in the car with the base (available to purchase seperately). Well padded and easy to raise the straps as baby grows.
Weaknesses:
It is heavy to carry but that re-assures me as I feel it would be safer in an accident. Anyway, why would you need to carry it far when you can put it on the chassis?
Overall:
I would certainly recommended this car seat. It is quite expensive especially if you buy the seperate base for the car but I think it is worth the money. (I have the carrycot and pushchair in Balmain as well and love it all!) Some people have commented that the car seat is too upright and although I agreed when I first put my newborn in it she has always seemed very comfortable and happy to fall asleep in it (even if not in a moving car).
