'ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT'
Strengths:
Solidly built and very durable.

Great manouvreability.
Good braking system and adjustable handle height.
Suspension seems to work very well.
My daughter finds it very comfortable.
Can be used as part of a travel system.
Looks good!
Weaknesses:
Bulky, heavy and doesn't fold up nice and compact easily.
Good accessories like rain sheild etc.
It's rather expensive, but you can get a good bargain on the net or ebay.
Overall:
I got this buggy to run with my daughter when she was a couple of months old and used it with the Dreami carrycot when she was newborn (I wasn't back to running for a few weeks!). I've always run a lot, even quite a bit during pregnancy, and didn't want to stop after childbirth. But I found that it wasn't just energy I lacked, but time. So I wanted a buggy you could run with so I could take Caroline with me.

Enter the Freestyle 3XL. The thing I love most about the buggy is the fact that Caroline loves being in it and coming out for runs with me. I'm guessing from that that it must be a comfortable ride. We run in the park and along the river tow-path, and it handles uncomfortable ground well. I think there are four or five seat positions but we only use two of them usually.

the tilting steerable front wheel is reaaly useful for manouevrability (you can lock it off for running).

On the negative side this is a heavy buggy, I wouldn't want to try to handle it on public transport. It does fit inside the boot of my car, but is far more difficult than my lightweight stroller to collapse. On the good side the wheels do come off, so I pop them in a placcy bag to stop the car getting muddy after a spin.

This one isn't as sleek looking as the lightweight 3-wheeler Quinny that's black and silver but I wanted something a lot more durable for running.
