Overall: I have had this steraliser since Jake was born in oct 2005. It has never gone wrong. I like the fact that you just put the correct amount of water in, switch it on and leave it.
Strengths: Easy-to-use. Takes only 8 minutes to sterilise up to 6 bottles or Isis breast pump & accessories so it is practical if you need to sterilise things in a hurry. Remains sterile for 3 hours (if unopened) after use so great if you don't need to use everything straightaway. Adjustable "shelves" to fit in all equipment & 2 pieces fit together to make a dishwasher rack so it saves washing up!!
Weaknesses: Must remember to descale with citric acid every 4 weeks. Must use a bottle to measure correct amount of water into steam well (80ml).
Overall: An assest to a busy parent due to speed of sterilisation and ability to convert parts into a dishwasher rack. Highly recommended.
Strengths: Cleans all baby stuff well and is handy and easily transported.
Weaknesses: Can't de scale it, have used vinegar but no good water wells up in the bottom of it, how can I be sure it is still sterilising my babies bottles, spoons and bowls adequately?????
