Pampers New Baby
More about Pampers
Average Rating: 4 out of 5
No. of Reviews: 10
RRP: £5.98
Year: 2005

Description: Pampers understand that after the security of his mother’s womb, a new baby can feel very exposed in this strange new world around them. So Pampers has created Pampers New Baby with new ‘Secure Me Fit’ tabs. These unique stretchy fasteners allow mum to overlap the tabs and secure them to the landing zone of the nappy one on top of the other – for a more snug, secure fit on even the smallest of tummies.

Pampers New Baby is also the only newborn nappy with TotalCare™ Technology; a soft weave net and absorbent dual core that is designed to absorb and contain soft, runny poo, as well as wee, to help care for a newborn baby’s skin. The nappy also has not just one, but two sets of leg cuffs to ensure that soft and runny poo is contained within the core of nappy.

Size & Cost: Available in sizes 1 (Newborn), 2 (Mini) and 3 (Midi).
A carry pack costs around £3.78 for Size 1 (27 nappies), and around £5.98 for Size 2 (35 nappies) and Size 3 (32 nappies).

'EXPENSIVE TO BUY'
Strengths:
good absorbancy for new babies
Weaknesses:
you pay for the name and not the product
Overall:
the nappy is almost the same as asdas little angel nappies, the only difference is the colour and the name and you dont have to pay half as most for the little angel ones

'THE ONLY DISPOSABLE I WOULD PUT ON MY NEWBORN BABY'
Strengths:
Size and fit are excellent - no rashes
complement Baby Dry well for daytime and evening use respectively
Weaknesses:
Price and non-biodegradable
not very flexible and need bigger waist bands, especially at back - Huggies better for this
Overall:
Please Pampers make a environmentally friendly nappy and these in a Size 4 for those bigger babies out there

'BETTER THAN OTHER BARNDS??'
Strengths:
Easy to use and convenient
Weaknesses:
Quite pricey!
Overall:
Absorbency wise they are quite good but I honestly don't think they work better than any other brand on the market. When it comes to buying nappies, there's not much you can do to avoid explosive nappies but you could perhaps save a bit of money by buying a cheaper brand.
