'VERY HELPFUL'
Strengths:
step by step guide to how I would be feeling and what changes to expect. It helped me understand some of the things my consultant and midwife were talking about and clarified aspects that were worrying me. It helped me understand that some pains etc were normal.
Weaknesses:
Concentrates more on the things that could go wrong rather than the positive aspects. I believe many of the normal pains of pregnancy can be made better by positive mental thinking and this book does not do this, stripping away the natural and happy process of preganancy and labour and replacing it with a scary down hearted view.
Overall:
Informative

Overall:
Lots of information and good advice and a chapter on 'when things go wrong' which really helped when I had some bleeding.

'EFFICIENT, EASY TO FOLLOW AND FULL OF REASSURING ADVICE.'
Strengths:
Takes you through the pregnancy month by month with lifestyle, health and emotional observations. Answers the questions your Gp or midwife might not have time to from big issues to little queries.
Weaknesses:
Sometimes a little 'American' in the language but otherwise hard to fault.
Overall:
This was our 'bible' when we were expecting our first and even our second baby.

'TRULY EXCELLENT!'
Strengths:
Became my bible in pregnancy, covering pretty much every question imaginable. I liked the month by month style telling me what to expect.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't go into much detail re baby's development.
Overall:
Excellent, a must-have and recommended to all my friends who are pregnant.
