'JUST A SUPER NAPPY!'
Strengths:
Really absorbant and really soft. No leaks at all even with explosive breast fed poops!
Weaknesses:
Take a while to dry and i dont like the wraps that come with them. Do need changing more often but thats to be expected with a cloth nappy.
Overall:
I just love this nappy, its so soft and really absorbant. They do take all day to dry on the line and can only be tumble dried on low which also takes a while. Wash well on 40 degrees but i've found the occasional 60 degrees wash brings them up lovely. Always dry soft and fluffy. I have found the totsbots wraps a bit bulky and 'crinkly'. Fantastic nappy overall.

'NATURAL PRODUCT'
Strengths:
Naturally antibacterial, soft, cute to look at(?) ... well nicer in photos than a disposable one!
Weaknesses:
If I put them on tight, baby had elastic marks on his legs, but if I did them up loose, poo flowed out!
Overall:
Having shelled out nearly £300 on birth to potty I'm very disapointed. I admit that I'd read reviews and taken them to heart; having not read a negative thing, I jumped on the bandwagon pledging to do my bit to save the environment. My baby (4 months old) still has not worn a whole set. I tried him in them a few times (never overnight) but he became whiny. This could be because they don't completly draw moisture away from the skin, leaving it damp whereas disposables are designed to keep a dry bum! I bought the fleece liners from the company (waited 3 weeks for delivery) to try with them but this doesn't appear to have made much difference. I know my baby does seem to have a problem with gloopy poo (side effect of being breast-fed I believe) but these nappies always allowed the poop out at the back regardless of how tightly I fastened them. Perhaps I should try again now he is bigger, but to be honest, I've lost my initial enthusiasm for them. Washing them was never an issue - I'd just throw them in a white 40degree wash and all the staining came out ... however I don't like having them drying around the house for a couple of days which given the season was neccessary (apparently tumble drying reduces absorbancy). They look and feel great, are no more difficult than a disposable to deal with, but perhaps I wasn't using them correctly.

'GETTING THE HANG OF THEM!'
Strengths:
No leaks. I've had leaks with all disposables that I've tried but not with these. Nicely shaped and easy to use. Stay really soft and we have hard water.
Weaknesses:
Need changing more often than disposables (but this is because they are not full of chemical gels).
Overall:
Real nappies take some getting used to. I bought them before my son was born and started using them when his cord had gone. I didn't like them to start with but persevered (mainly because I'd paid £130 for them) and now I've got the hang of them, I don't find them any more difficult to deal with than disposables. I only use them in the daytime and if I run out I use disposables but every one I use means that my wheelie bin is slightly less full of a mountain of nappies! If you are thinking of real nappies, I would definitely recommend Bamboozles and buy them before your child is born if possible. Several of my friends planned to buy them after having their babies and never got round to it. One thing I would say though is that although the nappies are great, I think the Tots Bots wraps are not the best, they are OK but the Motherease ones are better.

'SUPER SILKY- SUPER ABSORBANT- SUPER SLIM!'
Strengths:
Very absorbant- I confidently use this nappy with a booster for over-night with heavy wetting toddler. Slimmer fitting than other cloth nappies. Naturally an antibacterial fabric - I think that's just neat!
Weaknesses:
Takes longer to dry than other Tots Bots, slightly more expensive.
Overall:
I love this nappy. It's slim fitting- but more absorbant.
Perfect for long journeys, and even as an over night nappy when combined with a booster pad.
The feel of the fabric is just heavenly, you have to feel it to believe it! Definately a luxury nappy for your collection!
Despite it being more slim fitting than other nappies- making it appealing to use on newborns and younger babies- it almost goes to waste as you don't need that level of absorbancy in a Size 1 nappy. But I would highly recommend it for 6 months upwards in Size 2.
The bamboo fabric is also naturally antibaterial- which I just thought was a neat feature. A nice bonus really!
The only downside is the drying time. It takes longer than other Tots in the tumble drier and on the radiator.
I think it's worth the extra pennies- especially as an alternative to hemp style nappies, which although match on absorbancy- the hemp nappies start to smell a bit 'musty' if not dried in an airy room!
