'A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY CHILD.'
Strengths:
Grows with the child
Wide choice of colours to match EVERY dining room in the country, design blends in with any table.
Encourages your child to join in mealtimes
Weaknesses:
With a fidgety child this chair can be easily tipped - can not leave child alone.
No tray so has to be used at the table at all time.
Overall:
One of the best buys I made. Our daughter sits at the table for all meals and it's made our going out for meals a (relative?) breeze. She will now sit in any highchair and take part in mealtimes.
The chair itself is sleek and comfortable.
It matches all our dining furniture and with the choice of colours available I defy anyone not to find a colour match!
Simple to assemble and adjust. Doesn't need all the padded cushions as they just get matted with food! All my friends bought conventional high chairs initially and one by one have eventually bought a Tripp Trapp.
Do yourself a favour, save yourself some money and buy this one from the get go- it's such good value when you consider they'll have it for the next 6+ years. And the quality leaves you in no doubt it will last that long.

'GOOD BUT OVERPRICED'
Strengths:
Grows with child from 6months to adulthood.
Weaknesses:
No "table" so have to eat at a dining table. Not good when doing finger food or self feeding in early days. Can't fold it so takes a lot of space.
Overall:
I won my Stokke so use it and do like it, however I have to say I would not buy one. We also own a graco highchair which folds up, is height adjustable and reclinable - I use this as my first choice when feeding because it's much easier.

'SOLID, VERSATILE AND CLASSY'
Strengths:
I agree with the earlier comments. Looks good alongside adult chairs too - and ages well!
Weaknesses:
none really. I've only given it 3/5 for storage but I wouldn't have expected it to be foldable anyway.
Overall:
We have two; very happy with them. Just to add to earlier comments:

1. They're really stable but they can be tipped over backwards with a bit of effort - depends how bonkers your child is and how much leverage they can get on the dining table with their feet. ie probably like any other high chair, don't leave your child unattended thinking it's 100% impossible for them to hurt themselves.

2. You can buy a fitted cushion and a shaped plastic back to keep small babies stable. I'm pretty sure we used ours before 6 months. At the time of writing you can see pics of both on this page www.stokke-highchair.com

'THE BEST HIGHCHAIR'
Strengths:
Can be used by the whole family, no tray so that it encourages time as a family around the table, easy to clean, easy to use, and it looks really cool too.
Weaknesses:
none that I have found and I have three!
Overall:
If I had to choose one product as the best thing that I have ever bought for my children - then the Tripp Trapp would be it. When my first son was born 8 years ago, I had a mamas & papas highchair - it was bulky, difficult to clean and it looked horrid. I really wanted a Tripp Trapp but I thought that it was too expensive. After months of me going on about it my husband gave in - and I have never looked back. With my next two children they both had Tripp Trapp's before they were born.
For me it really comes into its own as your child grows. My 2 year old loves nothing better than being able to sit next to her big brother and colour as he does his school homework. She is really comfortable sitting at the table and I can't see that she would be if she has to sit in either a 'baby' chair or an adult chair that is simply too big for her.

'FROM 6M+ TO ADULTHOOD, A TRULY SUPERB DINING CHAIR'
Strengths:
Adjustable to suit a 'sitting' baby right through the clumsy toddler "I want to climb up there myself" stage to making sure your school age child is seated at the right height to promote good posture.
It's solid, well made and designed not to tip while they climb up.
The footplate (later the adult seat) promotes good posture when your children are small and can't put their feet on the floor to get comfy or reach things in their seat.
Weaknesses:
Not personally a weakness for me, But the fact it is an actual seat place at the table might be a problem for some people as they lose a chair for adults.
Overall:
I Love this, my eldest son's tripp trapp was given to him by my friend Anna- it was her chair and is 25 years old now. She was sitting at it as her desk chair until the day she gave it to him!
We bought another one for our 2nd Benji, and it's proved just as fabulous.
Both my boys have learnt to feed themselves with cutlery from 11 months, and everyone compliments them on their table manners if they join us for dinner, and I put it down to being involved and up at the dinner table from as soon as they could sit.
Social interaction is at the heart of the design of this chair, and I look forward to using it with all my children for years to come.
They adjust incredibly easily- when Jacob's friends come round in 2 minutes I can adjust Benji's chair to a suitable toddler height for them to use. I love it.
Best buy for your baby, a real investment.

Some people may see it as pricey- but you can use it for the rest of their life- as opposed to spending £100 on a highchair you'll use for 2 years!

'ADJUSTABLE, EASY TO CLEAN, LASTS THROUGH TO CHILDHOOD'
Strengths:
Easy to put together, easy to clean, doesn't take up much room, last forever (well as long as your child wants to sit in it!) Baby/child sits at the table with the rest of the family. Looks great.
Weaknesses:
You can't fold it up, but it doesn't take up much space anyway (I have a small flat and have two that fit in very neatly). It si really only usable frim 6 months.
Overall:
At first I thought I'd made a mistake buying the Tripp Trapp because there was no tray and it wasn't all padded but now I'm so pleased I got it for the same reasons. My eldest daughter (3) has always been happy to sit at the table with us and join in family meal times, she still loves her chair. I have just got another one for my 2nd daughter (6months) who has used it for the first time today (before we used a Bumbo seat) and she also seemed really happy. Neither chair is big and clumpy, they take up minimal space and are very easy to adjust and clean.

'GOOD'
Strengths:
adjustable high lasts for 6months till whenever
Weaknesses:
dose not fold away, is not suitable for a baby who can not sit alone.
Overall:
is lovely for a dinning room or large eating area i find that it is perfect for my sister who is 5 years old. but not that good when my son was 5 months old as he just wobbled all the time.
