'WISH I HADN'T BOTHERED!'
Strengths:
Good size basket for shopping and handle bar extends for taller people.
Weaknesses:
It's so heavy it tips when using three wheels, however I can't use the four wheel mode as the wheels twist and lock making it impossible to go forward. It is dangerous.
Also, when I put the pushchair into lying down mode, my son's head is lower than his feet, useless.
Overall:
icandy take no responsibility in the design faults and the supplier is just as unhelpful.

'AWFUL - REALLY DIFFICULT TO COLLAPSE DOWN'
Strengths:
Nice looking design. Easy to manouevre when on foot just not easy to fold down and take anywhere.
Weaknesses:
Collapsability - it's big, bulky and you need to be strong and patient to fold it down.
Overall:
I would not buy this if I had my time again. It is far too difficult to fold down.

'NICE DESIGHN CHEEPER ALTERNATIVE TO BUGABOO'
Strengths:
Nice desighn
farward and rear facing
fit maxi cosi car seat.
Strong
Footmuff Comes in Different Colours
Weaknesses:
Could be smaller when folded
Overall:
I absolutely love the iCandy Apple! I have been using it for 10 months now and during that time I have only seen another 5 around Aberdeen; My son seems very comfortable in the carry cot part of it, and is quite happy to sleep in there. It comes with 2 sets of front wheels to enable it to be used in 4 or 3 wheel mode, It is very easy to move around restricted spaces, ie. shops etc., with Brilliant suspension. The chassis is fully compatible with a Maxi Cosy car seat, and it is also very easy to use.

The chassis can fit in the boot of a Corsa and seat Leon the large rear wheels have been taken off with the corsa, which literally come off at the touch of a button! This makes it perfect for city living, thus just clipping the car seat on.

The pushchair part is great you are able to use farward and rear facing coseytoes are available in a selection of colours

'GREAT - REALLY PLEASED WITH IT!!'
Strengths:
Extendable handles (good if you're tall!) and carrycot much higher than a Bugaboo - much easier to see baby. Very easy to put up and down. Good, sturdy buggy, and my daughter seems very happy in it!
Weaknesses:
Quite heavy, and sometimes a struggle to get the carrycot/seat unit off the frame to collapse it.
Overall:
To those of you having problems steering your iCandy/wheels jamming - make sure your tyres are pumped up to the correct level. I was having all sorts of problems and asked at the shop where I bought the iCandy - this was the advice I received and it cured all problems!

'DANGEROUS!'
Strengths:
looks good and has lots of fancy accessories for boy/girl.
Weaknesses:
The wheels (4 & 3) jam constantly and the pushchair can easily tip over. My wheels jammed while crossing a very busy road in the middle of Oford Street, which scared the living daylights out of me as cars approached. Every divert, crack, pavement etc. I go over the wheels jam. The only surface that it glides on is indoor shopping centres where the floors are smooth - not very helpful. The shopping basket is large but difficult to access because of the two bars at the front of the pram/pushchair. The frame scratches easily and it's very heavy.
Overall:
Extremely disappointed with this pushchair and have a bad back as a result of jamming wheels. I would not recommend this buggy if you want to walk on anything apart from smooth surfaces. The pushchair straps are far too big for under 9 months and the carrycot lacks padding.

'FAB PUSHCHAIR'
Strengths:
Carrycot in a higher position than the Bugaboo so easier to see baby. Has a bar to ensure that the carrycot does not wobble(unlike Quinny Buzz and Bugaboo).
Great basket for shopping and a very sturdy frame. Have only used this with four wheels.
Pneumatic wheels great on rough ground.
Weaknesses:
This is quite heavy for lifting in and out of the car boot. More suited to someone who walks a lot.
Overall:
Would buy this again without hesitation. Not for someone who needs to put the pushchair in and out of a car frequently.

'AS BAD AS IT GETS'
Strengths:
look good senable colur.
Weaknesses:
Were to start, You need three hands to operate this system as you need both hands to get the hood down on the carry cot and a third to hold the baby. Pram cover easily kicked off by wriggling baby, not a good thing in December. The carry cot could do with been bigger as the seat unit can,t be used till 6 months. When using the seat unit you need two hands to hold the buttons in on each side and a third the position the seat. When using hood on pushchair you have to pull it forwards so it comes off the back of the seat then position it back on the seat again or it sags. The harness is as small as it goes and yet still to big. The system scratched very easily, The shopping basket looks big but you can,t get anything big in it as there are two bars in the way. The biggest problem with this is it tips very easily on 3 wheals and it is incredible hard to push. But when on for wheals it,s just as bag as they seam to stick and jam, very bad on shop flours and when getting down sets or off curbs. 1st set of wheals buckled 2nd set just as bad.
Overall:
If you want something that looks good fine, if it,s practicality your looking for don,t bother.

'HEAVY, HARD TO MANEOUVRE,UNSATABLE IN 3 WHEEL MODE'
Strengths:
erm none really

initially lookey likey buzz and cameleon
Weaknesses:
DONT BE SWAYED by its extensive marketing blurb and fancy web site -this pram is areal DOOZEY absolutely terrible.

Weighs a ton @5kg more than bugaboo

Seat Very deep and baby looked slumped in it

Dreadful rickety suspension - hard to steer no maneoverability

scratches easily

3 wheels mode really unstable
so unhappy with its steering, maneouverability, weight, unstable in 3 wheel mode
Overall:
am also in London had an icandy apple because i was swayed by its good looks and the 3 wheels 4 wheels thingy, and kind of buzz and kind of bugaboo lookey likey

DONT BE SWAYED by its extensive marketing blurb and fancy web site -this pram is areal DOOZEY absolutely terrible.

Weighs a ton @5kg more than bugaboo

Dreadful rickety suspension - hard to steer no maneoverability

scratches easily

3 wheels mode really unstable

i am note and am bemused that another poster details its many faults eg they state

DON'T BOTHER BUYING THE iCANDY PARASOL, IT WON'T LAST A WEEK, I KNOW 3 OTHER PEOPLE THAT BOUGHT THEM & THEY'VE ALL BROKEN. THERE'S NO TIE TO SECURE IT WHEN CLOSED, SO SPOKES CATCH ON THINGS AND SNAP/RIP. 2) UNPACK & AIR THE RAIN COVERS FOR WEEKS BEFORE FIRST USE. LEAVE OUTSIDE IF POSS. THERE ARE OVERPOWERING, OFFENSIVE FUMES FROM PLASTIC! 3) BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IN 3-WHEEL MODE, IF YOU TAKE A TIGHT CORNER IT WILL TIP OVER.

but still recommends it over cameleon- not a patch on cameleon

the upshot is i sold this doozey less than one month after receiving it - was so unhappy with its steering, maneouverability, weight, unstable in 3 wheel mode

..and yes i bought a cameleon- and loving it

icandy aple - don't go there
