Sitting up and reaching out
probably outgrown her baby bath if you used one, so it's time to start bathing her in the big bath. Even if she's sitting up quite happily on her own on the floor it's not a good idea just yet to let her go unsupported in the bath, it can be slippery

months buy a comfortable, broad-based potty and let her sit on it for fun – before bath time is a good time starting point. Tell her what it’s for, and if she does anything in it, give her lots of praise. Never force your tot to sit on the potty though

with no success then, rather than letting her become frustrated, make the target a little easier so she can reach her goals. Give her objects of different weights, sizes, colours and textures to play with to help her learn at the same time as developing her
