Grants for pregnant women and families are to be axed as part of the spending review
The Health in Pregnancy grant is up for the chop in the Coalition’s Spending Review, along with a raft of changes to family and child benefits.The £190 grant is currently given to all mums-to-be to encourage them to improve their diet and lifestyle

Two mums of young children have won their case for wrongful dismissal after being asked if they were planning more children
-shared, were overlooked for a new position because their boss Mike Taylor had an attitude “adverse to pregnancy and maternity leave", according to the tribunal. They were both asked if they were planning more children before the restructure that axed their jobs
