Thinking used to be four months but now parents are advised to waint until their baby is six months old to start solids. Why?
When my son was a baby, the thinking was that babies shouldn't eat solids until they were four months old. He had a cousin who was physically much bigger than him and - given that opinion had previously been that weaning could begin a little before
