Huge rise in unmarried families

Latest statistics show 30 per cent rise in the instance of babies born outside wedlock in the last 25 years.
The latest statistics about societal trends in the UK identify a massive increase in the number of babies being born to unmarried parents. In 1980, only about a tenth of babies were born to unmarried parents but in 2004 that figure was 42 per cent
