Buggy board
Advise by lel ann

not an expert but do know quite a bit about pushchairs (bit of an aholic, lol). If you use a buggy board that is not the recomended one for your pram then you are no longer under guarantee for it. Bit of a con I know as one buggy board is no more likely to break

PASSPORT PHOTOS FOR BABIES by mags mclauchlan

passport picture for you and they say that it is guaranteed to be accepted by the passport office. I am going to do that for Aaron. They have a wee seat for the babies to sit on. Thanks for the tip, will use them later today :-)

Group B Strep
Group B Strep test , on nhs and risks? by Lynne Reid

Midwife but also had gbs in both my pregnancies. Once you have discovered the infection in the pregnancy, you cannot guarantee it will go before the end, so please ask for antibiotics when you start in labour. Ideally you need 2 doses 4 hours apart

Can you still make love when...
you may have concieved? by Babydust, Harrison (Oct 08) & Sofie (Aug 10)

'm ovulating today. (Clear egg whites and some minor cramping are making me think this). As sperm can live for 5 days in the cervix there is a possibility we may have concieved today...but as we don't have a window to view our cervix's theres no guarantee

Morning sickness!?
by Fifi 02

(though it's still a pain in the neck) and hope that the vomiting doesn't return. There's no guarantee though! If you're at all worried then mention it to your GP/midwife, but I think it's more likely to be something to celebrate than to worry about

Fingers Crossed for pregnancy after a vasectomy reversal.
by AmandaS

. There's of course no guarantee that it'll work (there's a risk of scarring blocking the tubes), but at the time it was 9 years since he had the vasectomy and the prospects weren't great (they don't tend to do a reversal if more than 9 years or so). So

Swine Flu and Working
Working during an outbreak in your emplyer by Rachel, Ben and Isobel

.  The advice for pregnant women is to avoid contact with suspected cases and avoid densely populated environments where contact is uncontrollable.  There are obviously no guarantees that any of our staff actually have swine flu, but all are taking tamiflu
