Hi, just found out my 3 month son is lactose intolerant and has been prescribed soya based formula milk.  Hopefully he will be a happier baby now as when he had formula cow's milk he cried out in pain after about 30minutes and had a rash over his

. She has however finally given me Colief on presciption. I have not tried the Nutramingen but am tmepted. She said they were bad these milks. Now he is 4 months and is about to wean- do i have to consider this milk intolerance and what do i do now

and sent it off for testing. After 10 days we went back in to get the results, we were then told he is lactose intolerent and were given a prescription for soya milk. He is now 7 months and much happier and has put weight on really well, he was 5lb 12oz

Hi - is anyone using Nutramigen 1 baby milk, if so did you have any problems getting your baby to take it.  We have been prescripted this instead of Soya for a possible lactose intolerence problem however she hates it and refuses all the bottles
