can someone enlighten me as to what happens at your first midwife appointment? am just wondering as if they do a heartbeat thing then my partner will want to attend, but dont want him to miss work if its just paperwork n stuff.any help

Has anyone asked to changed their midwife? If so what is the procedure for doing so? As i'm fed upof mine she doesn't help me.. is always on the phone or slagging off other staff and I had a differnt midwife at the triple test last week and realised

has anyone had the same problem as me, midwife who keeps changing her mind about whether you'll have your scans, etc. im 30 weeks and thought she would see me more regularly than every month at this point. i dont see her for another month now

hi iam 23+3 weeks pregnant i had a midwifes appointment today the head is in the ceph head down on my way home my back and side was in real pain it lasted about 10 mins i couldnt hardly walk i ended up on my hands and knees to ease the pain it felt

me and all sorts - just like the book says! But no, just congratulations and book in with the midwife!So, my appointment with the midwife is at the end of January - got to wait another week and a bit, really nervous, as I don't feel pregnant
