GBS...Group B Strep.
Concerned 2nd time mum to be..needs more info

but that the NHS will not screen for the causing bacteria as it is considered too rare in the UK. Have any of you experience of this condition or further information?I'm seriously considering paying for screening privately, but have no idea where to start. I live

or maybe its just baby laying on nerves? (he is breech) xxxx Hi TaraI would get some advise, just to put your mind at ease. It's most likely nothing but best to get it checked out. Maybe give NHS 24 a call just now if your midwife is not available. Hope all

should there not be some onus shifted onto obese women to be proactive in optimising their own health? not only are they putting themselves at risk but also their unborn children. The nhs already works under huge constraints and a low budget

Just found out!
6 weeks pregant and confused and clueless re scans!

hello all,i have just found out im 6 weeks pregnant and due date is 31st dec ! I went to se my gp (nhs) who said i would only have 2 scans!! i was so shockedand she replied 'your pregnant not ill' so rude!!is this normal? is anyone going for private

Hayfever and pregnancy

and i just got another prescription for 3 months which should take me thro the worst of it. it also says that clorophenamine antihistamine is safe for hayfever in the NHS pregnancy book i was given by my midwife.my doctor told me that the side effects

Birmingham. I'm having a scan at the Midland Ultrasound and Medical Services place there in a couple of weeks. Check out www.mums.me.uk their early pregnancy scan is about £65.Good Luck! i heard really bad things about private scans aparently NHS ones
