Many couples turn to the internet to get conception information they find it difficult to ask for
The biggest question in India in 2010 is “How to get pregnant,” according to the latest stats released by Google. The search engine has recorded the query as the top search term typed into Google India this year.
This is in contrast to the UK, where "Am I pregnant?" is usually in the top 5 most popular questions on Google.
Despite a population in India of over a billion, it seems net users are still after some TTC tips! There was also a trend away from technical search topics in India and more personal, social and health related questions.
“People search queries that they can’t ask anyone. This also points out that even today Indians have doubts regarding pregnancy,” said an IT expert, analysing the results.
The second most search question was “how to kiss”, which is a good place to start…!
