The super-chic BabyBjörn High Chair Appetite is due to hit shelves next month

BabyBjörn, that Swedish brand we can thank for a range of fabulous baby carriers, has just announced it will be adding a chic, sleek highchair to its range of baby and toddler gear.

Called the BabyBjörn High Chair Appetite and set to retail for £179.99, this stylish number isn’t due out until the first week of April and there’s no word on where it’ll be stocked yet, but it's worth adding to your wish list now.

The High Chair Appetite was created with the help of paediatricians, designers and - more importantly - parents and children. It has a snug fit and curved back support, to make sure your baby or toddler is secure.

Those clean minimal lines aren’t just for show either. They mean the highchair is easier to clean and can be wiped down with little effort. The detachable tray can also be popped in the dishwasher.

Now, more on that tray – technically, it’s called a “foldout table” with a two-stage safety lock on the centre bar that sits between your child’s legs. It ensures your child’s safely in place and, according to BabyBjörn, it makes the High Chair Appetite child proof. It also means there’s no fiddly, grime-gathering harness required.

The highchair is a set height and designed so the tray will be level with most UK and European tables.

The High Chair Appetite is for babies that can sit up unaided (around 6 months) to toddlers aged 2.
