Whenever Mamas & Papas launch their new season's maternitywear, I'm always left thinking – 'Hmm, I wonder if you really have to be pregnant to deserve that gorgeous top… dress… cardigan.' Their styles never make pregnancy look like it should be a time to go too brash or too dowdy – M&P's style is all about making you look great and comfortable in something that will echo your sense of style whether you are expecting a baby or you're not.
Hurrah, then, that they have now launched three fab looks in a brand new lingerie line.
M&P's brand new lingerie collection – comfort and style
Launched by celebrity stylist and mum-to-be Nicky Hambleton-Jones, the Spring 2010 range has all been designed without underwiring to ensure a comfortable allowance for your boobs to grow, whether you're looking for a maternity bra, a night bra, or a feeding bra. Also, the bra sizes range from 34B to 40F, so you can stay pretty even if you're looking for a maternity bra for a bigger chest. Here elegant little lace details have not been sacrificed to make something practical!
The collection by range
All the ranges come in soft fabric, and matching briefs are available in sizes 8/10, 12/14 and 16/18…
Essentials collection, from £15 Mix and match simple cotton bras with cute little bow detailing, available in pinks, white and black, with matching briefs or a thong (£7).
Everyday Beauty, from £22 Using lace and embroidery, there is something feminine and stylishly vintage about this range for pregnancy and nursing. There are five different options and matching briefs at £8.
Luxury collection, from £36 Satin, lace and little bow details make this range perfect when you want to treat yourself at this special time in your life. If you're going to a special party or wedding, this set will really finish off a glamourous outfit. The regular Luxury Set comes in a rich purple (£36) and the Luxury Nursing Set (£40) comes in champagne with ivory lace. Matching lace shorts (£15) go with either bra.
This is a really exciting development for M&P. Now, along with buying up those pre-birth nursery essentials and a few stylish maternitywear pieces, mums to be can go along to Mamas & Papas for great underwear to make everyday pregnancy that bit more special!
The ranges will be available from February 2010.
